GESY DENTISTS - WHAT THEY OFFER

Dentists are among the health professionals who joined the General Health System 1 December.

What services do they offer:

Each beneficiary has the right to visit once a year (not a calendar year but a period of 12 months) in order to receive the following services according to his age:

• Beneficiaries up to 4 years old: Oral cavity control and information/education of beneficiary/parent/guardian for proper oral hygiene, the correct eating habits of the child to avoid tooth decay, oral habits and their treatment.

• Beneficiaries who have reached the age of 4 until the age of 6: Prevention (dental cleaning), oral cavity control and information/training of beneficiary/parent/guardian for proper oral hygiene, the correct eating habits of the child to avoid tooth decay and oral habits.

• Beneficiaries who have reached the age of 6 until the age of 12: Prevention (dental cleaning), local application of fluoride and oral cavity control and information/training of beneficiary/parent/guardian for proper oral hygiene, the correct eating habits of the child to avoid tooth decay.

• Beneficiaries who have reached the age of 12: Prevention (dental cleaning) and oral cavity control and oral cavity control and information/training for proper oral hygiene, and the right eating habits to avoid tooth decay.

Access to preventive dentistry services:

The visit to the dentist of the GHS for the above services is made directly, without reference, after arranging an appointment with the dentist of the choice of the beneficiary participating in the GHS.

Payment of supplement:

The beneficiary does not pay any supplement to receive the above services.
