The final proposal of the Health Insurance Agency (OAC) concerning the inclusion of Clinical Dietitians in the GHS was accepted, according to an announcement by the Association of Dietitians and Nutritionists (SYDKY).
"This decision of the SYDKy was based on the upgraded final proposal of the OSA, following talks and counter-proposals of our Association. This positive decision also contributed to what was agreed with the OSU during the consultations between us, as well as the ODS commitments made at the last meeting of the YDY with the ODY which took place on 30.11.2020. What has been agreed can be the starting point for a sustainable and high-level practice of the tasks of Clinical Dietitians to provide quality services to beneficiaries," it states.
Despite this successful outcome, the consultation with the OA will continue, so as to achieve all the objectives and requirements of the SYDY for the good of clinical dietitians, but also of all members of the SYD, with the main focus of the patient, added to the communication.
According to the Communication, the SYDIK's fixed position is to improve the framework of the dietary and nutritional services provided in the GHS, it is inextricably linked to the integration within it of dietitians and nutritionists into different categories, as befits an integrated Health System.
