CHINESE TECHNOLOGY PARK IN PAPHOS IS WRECKED BY PANDEMIC

Where it seemed in the last two years that the process for the creation of a Pharmaceutical Technology Park in Paphos, one of the largest of its kind that would exist in the European area, the ups and downs in the economy due to a crown, seems to be pushing this ambitious target to the Greek islands.

The promotion of the designs took place during a three-year visit of a delegation of the Paphos Chamber to China and the start of contacts with representatives of the administration of Life Health Industrial Park in Changzhou city, The signing in the Chinese city of Memorandum of Understanding to evaluate and promote cooperation between the two sides, predicted that Paphos and the Chinese pharmaceutical giant would jointly promote the procedures for the creation of the Pharmaceutical and Technology Park in an area of the province.

The aim of this collaboration would be to promote the creation of a Technological, Scientific Park in Paphos Province specializing in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Industry, Biological Medicine and Medical Machinery in order to promote the Province as a research and development center.

Life Health Industrial Park in Changzhou, China, is part of changzhou National Hi-Tech District and is 11.5 square kilometers. It is a scientific and technological center specializing in biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, health food products and manufacture of medical equipment.
