 Filenews 26 December 2020

Five flights are expected today, Saturday, at Paphos Airport from the United Kingdom. According to airport information, flights are expected from Bristol, Edinburgh, Luton, Gatwick and Stansted (London), with Easy Jet and Ryan Air.

Two more flights to Paphos airport from the UK from Gatwick and Stansted are also expected tomorrow Sunday. All passengers, upon arrival, undergo laboratory testing for Covid-19 and are then transported by bus to quarantine hotels for a mandatory seven-day self-limit.

According to the Police, an incident occurred yesterday in a hotel accommodation in Paphos, where she was quarantined after arriving from the UK. The woman, who was under the influence of alcohol, began shouting and causing a disturbance, leading the other quarantined residents to protest. Members of the Paphos Police went to the scene and after suggestions the woman complied.
