In relation to the movement of citizens to and from the Provinces of Limassol and Paphos for medical purposes (visit to a doctor, diagnostic centre, hospital for intervention, medical centre for treatment, etc.), it is clarified that it is not necessary to present a certificate of negative laboratory examination, provided that patients have a medical certificate from the attending physician proving the purpose of their movement.
Please note that a certificate that the patient must have from his attending physician will also cover the attendant, in cases where the patient will not be able to go alone for the purpose of his treatment.
It should also be recalled that in cases where citizens undergo surgery they are referred by their attending physician for laboratory testing through the Public Health Clinics.
Finally, it should be noted again that the demonstration of a negative molecular test result is necessary from Wednesday, 18 November 2020, by workers who fall into the excluded categories and can move to and from the Limassol and Paphos Provinces.
