Mobile sampling units are currently operating in nine places in Cyprus to control the general population using the rapid antigen detection method, the Ministry of Health has announced.
A ministry announcement states that in addition to the following points where they will be tomorrow, 30 November 2020, mobile units for the control of the general population, additional sampling units continue rapid tests in nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and other closed structures in Limassol and Paphos.
At the same time, as of today, the Larnaca Province is part of the programme for the control of nursing homes and other closed structures.
The sampling units for population control will be located at the following points:
Above - Limassol, Larnaka, Ammochostos, Nicosia
It is noted that the programme is aimed at all citizens, especially and with priority, those employed in public service areas, distributors and frontline professionals.
Citizens will be informed of the result of their laboratory examination by text message within 24 hours, but also in writing, if they wish, by the mobile units within 30 minutes of sampling.
The Ministry of Health thanks the Local Authorities for their willingness and cooperation.
