In 61 complaints from citizens and 2 premises for violation of measures to limit the spread of COVID-19 disease, the Police proceeded in the last 24 hours.
In a statement to the CYPE, a spokesman for the Police Press Office said 2,840 checks had been carried out in the last 24 hours.
As regards provincial audits, 262 audits were carried out in Nicosia with 18 complaints from citizens, in Limassol 681 checks were carried out with 9 complaints of citizens, in Larnaca 610 checks were carried out with 8 complaints of citizens, in Paphos 630 checks were carried out with 2 complaints of premises and 11 citizens, in Famagusta 461 checks were carried out with 7 complaints of citizens and in the area of Morfos 150 checks were carried out with 3 complaints of citizens.
There were also five complaints from citizens from the Traffic Police to the motorways.
Another 46 checks were carried out by the Port Police, with no complaints made.
