In 31 complaints from citizens and a premises for violation of measures to limit the spread of coronavirus disease, the Police proceeded in the last 24 hours.
In a statement to the CYPE, a spokesman for the Police Headquarters Communication Branch said that between 6 a.m. on Monday and 06:00 today, 3,169 checks were carried out.
As regards provincial audits, 254 checks were carried out in Nicosia without complaints, in Limassol 545 checks were carried out with 13 complaints of citizens, in Larnaca 405 checks were carried out with 6 complaints of citizens, in Paphos 623 checks were carried out with 7 complaints of citizens and one premises, in Famagusta 528 checks were carried out with 5 complaints of citizens and in the area of Morfos 302 checks were carried out without complaints.
Of the 3,169 checks, 12 concerned the Port Police. The Port Authority's audits did not reveal any complaint.
