15 RAPID TEST SAMPLING POINTS OPEN ON SUNDAY

In all provinces, mobile sampling units carrying out population control using the antigen rapid tests will also be operational tomorrow, with the aim of examining a larger number of citizens.

Workers who will be subjected to a free crown test to move to and from the provinces of Limassol and Paphos must complete their sampling form electronically and must have their identity card, sampling form printed and certified work or signed transfer certificate by their employer, NIPD Genetics said in a statement.

The program will start from Saturday 21/11/2020, at 02:00pm.

According to the NIPD Genetics communication at the sampling point, interested parties should bring with them:

Identity card

Sampling Form, printed and signed (the test subjects must complete the Sampling Form electronically at this link https://covid19.nipd.com/transitions.php)

Certificate of Employment or signed Certificate of Movement by the Employer (https://bit.ly/2UAJbP1), or certificate of movement stating the address of residence of the person concerned and the address of work.

It is stressed that without all of the above, free sampling cannot be carried out.

The examinations will be carried out on a Cyprus basis, with the following sampling stations staffed for COVID-19 molecular control.

Therefore, for tomorrow, 22 November 2020, the sampling units will operate at the following points:

Paphos

Papantoniou Supermarket Parking (Ellados Avenue)  9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Eleftherios Venizelos Avenue (in front of the Citizen's Service Office) 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Limassol

Gregory Axentiou Square (Command) 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

ALFAMEGA Supermarket Parking, Linopetra 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Limassol Shopping Centre, Polemidia (formerly Orphanides) 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Freedom Square, Episkopi 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Larnaca

Stelios Andreou Supermarket Parking, Livadia 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Kornos Community Clinic 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Europe Square 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Famagusta

Agios Georgios Church, Deryneia 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Nicosia

Mall of Cyprus (Entry Square 2) 11 am.-7 pm.

Jumbo Parking, Lakatameia 10 am.-5 pm.

ALFAMEGA Supermarket Parking, Egomi 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Hall of events of the Old Community Council of Kakopetria 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Freedom Square (ledra street entrance) 8 am.-5 pm.

The programme is aimed at all citizens, especially and with priority, those employed in public service areas, distributors and frontline professionals.

Citizens will be informed of the result of their laboratory examination by text message within 24 hours, but also in writing, if they wish, by the mobile units within 30 minutes of sampling.

The Ministry of Health thanks the Local Authorities for their cooperation and assistance.
