The Forestry Department said on Friday that access to picnic sites is allowed for maximum 10 people per group (underage children inclusive) under Phase Two of the easing of lockdown measures.
The Department also reminded that the use of playgrounds in parks and picnic sites is prohibited and that camping sites remain closed.
The public is called to be careful during their visits to picnic sites, take all the recommended hygiene measures for the protection of all visitors.
It finally emphasised that lighting a fire to cook food is only allowed within the special barbecue area at picnic sites.
