According to the latest figures, from 6 pm on Friday evening to 6 am on Saturday morning:
Nicosia: 1156 checks, seven booked
Limassol: 940 checks, 36 booked
Larnaca: 414 checks, 24 booked
Paphos: 251 checks, seven booked
Famagusta: 261 checks, 13 booked
Morphou: 79 checks, none booked
Police HQ traffic unit: 219 check, 3 booked
MMAD: 77 checks, one booked
Moreover, police carried out checks on 495 premises and found two violations.
