Police will on Monday launch a campaign against driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, their second this year.
The week long campaign will seek to raise awareness of the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, considered one of the main causes for road fatalities.
Figures shows that one in five road fatalities in Cyprus in the period of 2014 to 2018 can be attributed to driving under the influence, police added.
