Water bills for the quarter to 30 September are 'in the post' and the amounts payable can now be settled via JCC Smart.
Rates and refuse accounts are also on JCC Smart.
If you have previously paid by standing order and wish to change your payment method to JCC Smart, please ensure you cancel the standing order before you change to JCC Smart otherwise you risk paying twice!
Re Local Immovable Property Tax, this currently has to be paid at Tala Council Office. Work is underway to try and transfer the information onto the current Council database so that invoices can be issued in the future, hopefully by the time the 2019 payment is due. When paying this tax, please take a copy of your last payment with you if at all possible as this speeds up the process of tracing the entry [information comes in from the Land Registry which often shows the original site address, or plan reference and the office are gradually working through the listing to tie up the information with the correct post-site address.This is a time-consuming process which is being done in amongst other work and will, therefore, take a little time to complete].
