The historic centre of Paphos is to be illuminated at night following a contract signed yesterday by Mayor Phedon Phedonos and the company which was awarded the €470,645 contract.
It covers the Town Hall, the Municipal Library, the October 28 column, the various sculptures in the historic centre, the Dimitrio Primary School, the Nicolaidio Gymnasium, the entrance to the Iacoviou Gymnastic Centre, the Makarios III Lyceum, Costis Palamas Gate and the Love Fountain.
Work will start immediately and is expected to be completed in six months.
