Sotiroulla Economidou, 15 years old, from Cyprus, has been missing from her place of residence in Nicosia since 31/07/2026.
The 15-year-old is described as having a slim build, approximately 1.50 m tall, with dark skin. At the time of her departure she was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, black long trousers and white sports shoes.
Anyone who knows anything that may help in her location is asked to contact the Nicosia Police Station, at 22-802222, or the nearest Police Station, or the Citizens' Hotline at 1460.

The Cypriot authorities are rushing to correct a law that was passed in December 2024 for Cyprus' compliance with the imposition of a minimum level of taxation on multinational groups, but it did not satisfy the European Commission, which sent us back the legislation and is requesting its revision.
The legislation in question concerns the Directive known as Pillar 2. The Directive requires member states to adopt a minimum effective tax rate of 15% on entities belonging to multinational groups or large-scale domestic groups with annual revenues exceeding €750 million.
The aim of Pillar 2 is to put a stop to practices implemented by some multinational companies, transferring their profits to countries with zero or very low taxation.

A fire in a house in the Tala community of Paphos district mobilized the Fire Department at dawn.
According to the Fire Department, the response occurred at 00:19, with two fire engines going to the scene to extinguish the fire.
The fire caused extensive damage to kitchen equipment, while the smoke and heat affected the paintwork of the house.
The residents of the house managed to safely exit before the Fire Department arrived.
The causes of the fire are expected to be investigated, while the possibility of electrical or mechanical failure in an electrical device is not ruled out.
