TALA COUNCIL - DOG LICENCES
Regarding renewal or inception of dog licences, please note that Tala Council have changed the system.
Previously you could pay now for the following year. However, if you pay now, you will only have a licence until the end of this year, and will have to pay again for 2027.
Many people used to pay their dog licences at the same time as they paid their council/refuse taxes - please DONT! Pay for the dog licence in January 2027.
Also, if a licence is no longer required following sale or
demise of the dog, proof of transfer or veterinary certificate following demise
will be required.
