YASIR QUNBUS, 24 from Syria, is wanted to facilitate investigations into an investigated case of burglary, kidnapping and robbery, offenses committed on 18/10/2026 in the province of Nicosia.
This is a case that took place in the early hours of October 18, 2026 in Nicosia. As reported to the Police by a 24-year-old, unknown persons broke into his house and after beating him, they took him to various areas of Nicosia and then abandoned him. The perpetrators also allegedly stole from the 24-year-old's house, a bag containing a mobile phone and a bank card.
For the case, testimony emerged against a 34-year-old man, who was arrested on 19/10/2026 by virtue of a court warrant to facilitate investigations. On 20/10/2026 he was brought before the District Court which issued an eight-day detention order.
Further examinations revealed testimony against 24-year-old YASIR QUNBUS, on the basis of which a court warrant was issued for his arrest and he is wanted.
