“UNLEASH YOUR SENSES'' A NEW PROMOTIONAL VIDEO SHOWCASES PAFOS THROUGH THE SENSES
The Pafos Regional Board of Tourism (ETAP) proudly presents the region’s new official promotional video, entitled “Unleash Your Senses”, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the international visibility and recognition of Pafos as a diverse, authentic, and year-round tourism destination.
Through a dynamic 90-second audiovisual production, the new video takes viewers on a captivating journey of images, experiences, and emotions, highlighting the rich history, natural beauty, culture, activities, and distinctive lifestyle that define the Pafos Region.
The production focuses on five key themes:
-History and Culture: Iconic archaeological monuments inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, historical sites, and a cultural heritage spanning thousands of years, connecting the past with the present.
-Natural Beauty and Beaches: Spectacular coastlines, crystal-clear waters, the exceptional natural beauty of the Akamas Peninsula, the iconic Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodite’s Rock), and breathtaking landscapes that reveal the authentic beauty of Cyprus.
-Countryside and Authentic Experiences: Traditional villages, warm local hospitality, culinary delights, authentic flavours, and experiences that bring visitors closer to the everyday life, traditions, and people of the region.
-Activities and Adventure: Cycling, hiking, golf, running, water sports, and a wide range of outdoor activities that establish Pafos as an ideal destination for active holidays throughout the year.
-Lifestyle and Contemporary Experiences: Glimpses of everyday life, relaxation, entertainment, and modern lifestyle experiences that Pafos has to offer, presenting a destination that goes beyond traditional sightseeing and invites travellers to become part of its unique way of life.
At the heart of the new production lies the ambition to create an emotional connection with potential visitors, inviting them to discover Pafos through all their senses: to listen to the sounds of nature, savour authentic local cuisine, connect with history, experience genuine hospitality, and admire the destination’s spectacular sunsets.
The new 90-second video, along with its shorter versions, will serve as key promotional tools within the Pafos Regional Board of Tourism’s digital marketing strategy across major international target markets. The video will also be featured at international tourism exhibitions, professional meetings, presentations, and other promotional activities abroad.
In addition, a series of 30-second thematic videos is currently under production, focusing on specific tourism experiences and distinctive features of the destination. Featuring themes such as “Captivating Landscapes – Breathtaking landscapes, Coastal Majesty” and “Live. Relax and Revive .”, among others, this new series will further strengthen the targeted promotion of Pafos, reaching diverse traveller audiences with different interests and preferences.
Through this initiative, the Pafos Regional Board of Tourism continues to invest in modern, high-quality tourism marketing tools, showcasing the region’s authenticity, diversity, and competitive advantages, with the aim of strengthening its competitiveness and further establishing Pafos as a leading destination on the international tourism map.
