The Sponsorship and Allowances Service of the Ministry of Finance has announced the latest extension to the deadline for submitting applications for state student welfare for the academic year 2025-2026.
The new deadline will apply from Monday, October 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. until Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 14:00.
According to the Service, during the examination of the applications, it was found that in some cases the process was not completed correctly. Specifically, applications remained in a state of "Draft Application", others were submitted by students despite the relevant remarks and warnings of the system, while there were also cases of applications submitted to another Service instead of the Sponsorship and Allowances Service.
As stated, it was decided to give an additional opportunity to those who, due to unforeseen or extraordinary circumstances, did not submit an application or did not correctly complete the process within the set deadline.
Student families are invited to submit their applications electronically through sg-yxe.mof.gov.cy address, on time and with correct information.
The Service clarifies that this is the last extension, as several extensions have already been granted and it will not be possible to extend the deadline further.
