The competent authorities responded to 14 incidents nationwide from yesterday until today, due to rainfall and severe weather phenomena.
According to the Fire Service, six incidents were recorded in Polis Chrysochous and Paphos and involved pumping rainwater from underground areas, as well as openings of culverts to remove water.
In Larnaca, two incidents were recorded, with immobilized vehicles moving along with their occupants, due to the accumulation of water on the road surface.
Another six incidents occurred in Famagusta and involved rainwater pumping, as well as falling and moving trees.
