PAPHOS PORT CLEANING CAMPAIGN - Pafos Live 30/10
The Cyprus Ports Authority, in collaboration with the Municipality of Paphos and other competent bodies, is organizing a campaign to clean the basin of the Port of Paphos, with the aim of removing waste and objects that pollute the seabed.
The action will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 09:00 a.m.
The Port Authority in a statement notes that for the success of this effort, it needs everyone's support. He invited volunteer divers, as well as organized diving teams, to actively participate in the campaign, offering their time and knowledge for the protection and upgrading of the marine environment.
The participation of divers is crucial, it is emphasized, as the removal of waste from the seabed contributes substantially to the maintenance of a clean and safe marine ecosystem.
