FIRST FREE GUIDED TOUR OF IEROKIPIA CENTRE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED
The first free guided tour of the Ierokipia Center has commenced with great success, exceptional impressions, and ever-increasing interest from participants.
This initiative is being implemented by the Pafos Regional Board of Tourism (PRBT), with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality of Ierokipia, as part of enriching the visitros’ experience.
This inaugural tour received warm reviews from the attendees, who expressed their enthusiasm for the high level of organization and the wealth of points of interest. Public response is already highly satisfying, with bookings and participation quickly gaining momentum for the next scheduled routes.
Accompanied by a licensed tour guide, participants had the opportunity to experience a unique cultural route, which includes:
A visit to the historic church of Agia Paraskevi, the Sacred Gardens, and the Kato Vrysi (Spring).
A guided tour of the Museum of Folk Art, offering an authentic look into the local traditions.
A live demonstration of the preparation of traditional loukoumi (Turkish delight), which stole the show.
A tour around the central square area, highlighting the infrastructure and the vibrancy of the locality.
Following the completion of the tour, visitors had free time to enjoy their coffee or lunch, as well as shop at local stores, thereby supporting the local economy.
The main goal of the Tourism Board is to showcase the lesser-known but highly remarkable spots of the region, alongside new infrastructure that upgrades the tourism product.
As a reminder, the free guided tours of the Ierokipia Center will continue throughout the months of October and November, every Tuesday.
Due to increased demand, interested individuals are advised to secure their spots well in advance.
