Our country celebrates today the 66th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Cyprus. On the occasion of Independence Day, the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai was dressed in the colours of Cyprus.
It is the tallest building in the world and in the history of mankind, with a height of 828.5 meters and 163 floors.
Its construction began on September 21, 2004 and was completed on October 1, 2009. Officially, it started operating and operating on January 5, 2010.
