TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS DUE TO OPERA - 4 & 5 SEPTEMBER - Pafos Live 4/9
For the purpose of the smooth running of the 24th Pafos Aphrodite Festival and to avoid inconvenience to the public and affected drivers, during the performance nights, Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September 2026, special traffic and traffic arrangements will be implemented in the area of Kato Paphos.
From 6.00 p.m. there will be control and guidance points for drivers on Apostolou Pavlou Avenue, at the roundabout next to the Kings Avenue Mall, at the junction of Poseidonos Avenue with Pafias Aphrodite Street, as well as on Poseidonos Avenue, at the Almyra Hotel, at the junction with Iasonos Street.
From the above points, the continuation of the route to the Port will be allowed only to holders of tickets or an entry card (pass).
Depending on the type of ticket, the public will be able to park in the parking lot of the Archaeological Park, in the area next to the "Hondros" restaurant, in the area behind the buildings of the Cyprus Ports Authority, as well as in the open area next to the Visitor Center of the Archaeological Site, former "Kyklos" Gallery.
Drivers are requested to have their tickets or entry passes placed in a prominent place on the windscreen of their vehicle.
Those who do not have tickets or entrance tickets can use the parking lot of the Municipal Beach (SODAP on Poseidonos Avenue), as well as the parking lot of Apollonos Street, next to the Kato Paphos Cemetery. Parking in the above areas will be free from 18:00 to 24:00.
Drivers are required to comply with the instructions of the duty members of the Police and Traffic Police of the Municipality of Paphos, as well as with the relevant temporary road signs, to ensure smooth traffic and the safety of all. It is emphasized that vehicles that will obstruct the safe and unhindered passage of other vehicles will be removed without prior notice.
