The clocks in Cyprus will turn back one hour on Sunday, October 25, 2026, as daylight saving time ends.
The change will take place in the early hours of the morning. At 04:00, the clocks should be turned back one hour and show 03:00. On mobile phones and most electronic devices the change is done automatically, while the rest of the watches will need manual adjustment.
With the return to winter time, it will start to get dark earlier, which becomes more noticeable as we approach winter. At the same time, that night we will have an extra hour, since the time will turn back.
Daylight saving time had started on March 29, 2026, when the clocks went forward one hour. The change continues to be implemented in Cyprus and the rest of the countries of the European Union, despite the discussions that have taken place in previous years about its possible abolition.
