RAIN, STORMS AND HAIL ON THE MENU - MAINLY IN THE MOUNTAINS AND INTERIOR - Filenews 4/9
Seasonal low pressure affects the area.
Today initially the weather will be mostly clear, however clouds will gradually develop which after noon are expected to give local rains, but also possible isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains but also in some areas of the interior. Hail may also fall in a storm. Winds will initially blow south to southwest light, 3 Beaufort, and later mainly southwest to northwest light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 37 degrees inland, 31 on the west coast, around 33 on the rest of the coast and around 26 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight the weather will become mostly clear, however at times there will be locally increased low clouds on the coasts. Later and during the morning hours, locally thin fog or fog is expected to form. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest light, 2 to 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 22 degrees inland, around 23 on the coast and around 17 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Saturday, locally increased clouds after noon are expected to give isolated rains or even a storm, mainly in the mountains and inland.
On Sunday and Monday the weather will be mostly clear.
The temperature on Saturday will be about the same as on Friday, which is slightly above the average climatic values. On Sunday and Monday it will rise further.
