PREPARING FOR THE MILESTONE YEAR - Pafos Live 6/9
2027 marks ten years since the landmark year for the city of Paphos since the assumption of the title of European Capital of Culture and 25 years since the first year of the opera festival's organization.
The board of directors of Pafos Aphrodite Festival is already working on the next edition, seeking to continue the institution as a meeting point for artists, cultures and audiences, strengthening Paphos' position as a major cultural destination in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Last night this year's festival ended. The National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Armenia, with the participation of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, presented the opera "The Elixir of Love" by Gaetano Donizetti, in the special setting of the Medieval Castle of Paphos.
