A total of 208 persons residing illegally in Cyprus were returned to their countries of origin in the last week, through the forced and voluntary return procedures of the Aliens and Migration Service (H.M.D.S.) in cooperation with the Deputy Ministry of Migration and International Protection.
As part of these actions, 7,014 people residing illegally on the territory of the Republic of Cyprus have left Cyprus since the beginning of the year.
It is noteworthy that during 2026 a further decrease in the number of arrivals has been recorded, which amount to 1,126.
