YELLOW WEATHER WARNING TODAY 2pm to 4pm - ISOLATED SHOWERS AND STRONGER WINDS FORECAST, MAINLY IN THE MOUNTAINS - Filenews 11/8
A new yellow warning has been issued by the Department of Meteorology.
The warning will go into effect at 2:00pm on Tuesday until 4:00 pm on the same day.
The maximum temperature will rise to 40 degrees.

Seasonal low pressure affects the area.
Today initially the weather will be mostly clear. In the afternoon and afternoon, locally increased clouds are expected to give isolated rain, mainly in the mountains. Winds will initially be variable light 3 Beaufort, to gradually become southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally on the south and southwest coasts in the afternoon, up to strong 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 40 degrees inland, around 31 on the west and southwest coasts, around 35 on the rest of the coasts and around 30 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, however locally, mainly in the west, increased low clouds will be observed from time to time. Winds will become later, mainly northwest to northeast, weak, up to 3 Beaufort and the sea calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 23 degrees inland, around 24 degrees on the coast and around 20 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Wednesday and Thursday, locally increased clouds, during the afternoon hours are very likely to give isolated rains in the mountains, while on Friday isolated rains and a storm are expected in the mountains and possibly in an inland area.
The temperature will not change significantly until Thursday, while on Friday a slight drop is expected, to fluctuate close to the average climatic values.
