YELLOW WEATHER WARNING AGAIN TODAY - 2-4pm - Filenews 4/8
A new yellow warning for extreme high temperature has been issued by the Department of Meteorology.
The warning will be in effect today, from 14:00 to 16:00.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 40 degrees Celsius in areas of the interior.

Today the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will initially be variable, light 3 Beaufort to gradually become southwest to northwest, light to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort and transient on the south coast, up to strong 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough. The temperature will rise to 40 degrees inland, 30 on the west coast, around 35 on the rest of the coast and 31 degrees in the higher mountains.
In the evening the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will blow northwest to northeast and on the north coast southeast, light 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to 20 degrees inland, around 22 degrees on the coast and 18 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the weather will be mostly clear but at times there will be locally increased clouds.
The temperature will gradually drop slightly to fluctuate close to the climatic averages.
