MERCURY CLIMBS TO 38 - FORECAST TILL THE WEEKEND - Filenews 20/8

Seasonal low pressure affects the area, while a warm air mass is expected from tomorrow.

Today the weather will be mostly clear, however in the afternoon there will be locally increased clouds, especially in the mountains. The winds in the morning will be variable, light, 3 Beaufort, to later become mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and temporarily on the southwest coast to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 38 degrees inland, around 32 on the west and north coasts, around 35 on the south and east coasts and around 29 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight the weather will be mostly clear, with the possibility of temporarily increased low clouds mainly in coastal areas. Winds will initially blow west to northwest, light and temporarily to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, to later become mainly downcast, light, 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 24 degrees inland, on the south and east coasts, around 23 on the rest of the coasts and around 20 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday the weather will remain mostly clear, although in the afternoons there will be locally increased clouds, especially in the mountains.

The temperature on Friday will rise, to fluctuate above the average climatic values, while until Sunday it will drop slightly.
