The gang of robbers in Paphos is "imported" from another province
Police investigations in full swing - Under the CCTV microscope, testimonies and similar incidents in Larnaca and Nicosia
Police investigations are in full swing to identify the individuals allegedly behind the barrage of burglaries and thefts recorded in the last few hours in the Paphos province.
Investigators are attempting to piece together the puzzle of the perpetrators' movements, evaluating testimonies, information and audiovisual material from closed-circuit surveillance cameras of businesses and premises that were targeted.
According to cross-checked information from PafosPress, the evidence and indications that the Authorities have so far point to an organized group of individuals, who allegedly arrived in Pafos from another province, with the aim of carrying out a series of criminal acts.
The investigations are not limited to Pafos alone. The Authorities are examining whether the specific individuals are also linked to other incidents recorded in the past in different provinces and present similar characteristics in terms of their mode of action.
Of particular interest is a case in Larnaca, where a similar action was previously recorded in a pharmacy in Larnaca on August 17, while a corresponding incident occurred a few days ago in a village in the Nicosia province, specifically in Lympia, a day later, on August 18.
In addition to the robbers' method of action, what clearly indicates that these are the same individuals who are behind these incidents is that in the cases under investigation, a specific type of cement block is used, which is obviously heavier than a stone and more bulky but, as has been proven, for the perpetrators themselves, it seems to be…practical.
However, investigators are examining the material frame by frame, attempting to identify common characteristics, movements, vehicles or other elements that may lead to the identification of the perpetrators.
At the same time, investigations are continuing in various areas, while it is not excluded that new data will emerge in the near future from the evaluation of the audiovisual material and the information collected.

NEW VIDEO: And a third documentary from the action of the hooded men
New visual material from the night action of the group of four hooded men is brought to light by PafosPress, securing a third video from closed circuit surveillance, this time with a “beating” in a mini supermarket.
The new video-documentary records the four perpetrators during their organized action, which caused disruption in various areas of the Pafos district in the early hours of the morning.
The hooded men, having covered their features and wearing helmets and gloves, are said to have moved methodically from point to point, using a single motorcycle for their movements.
Their action, according to the information so far, expanded to ten different locations, targeting pharmacies, kiosks, gas stations and mini markets.
Their route seems to have started from Tala, continued through Kissonerga, Chloraka and Paphos and ended in Kato Paphos, where, among other things, they hit two pharmacies on busy avenues.
The third video, obtained exclusively by PafosPress, adds to the material already under evaluation, capturing yet another moment of the movements of the four perpetrators during the night.
The authorities are continuing their investigations to identify and locate them, examining testimonies as well as footage from closed-circuit surveillance cameras from both the locations they hit and the route they followed.
The evidence before them by investigators points to an organized group, while the possibility that the perpetrators may be related to similar incidents that occurred in the past in other provinces is also being investigated.
