More than six years after its closure, the Paphos Hospital canteen still remains out of operation, despite repeated assurances that the issue will be resolved. The MP of Paphos of DIKO, Chrysanthos Savvidis, returns to the issue today, pointing out that this situation cannot continue, as it affects the employees, patients, attendants and visitors of the hospital on a daily basis, who justifiably express their indignation.
I expect OKYPY to immediately complete all the necessary procedures and proceed with the operation of the canteen without further delay, he emphasizes. He clarifies that if the canteen does not reopen by next September, there will be dynamic actions.
Paphos cannot wait any longer and its citizens deserve actions and not constant promises. Six years of waiting for such a simple and self-evident issue is already too much, concludes Mr. Savvidis.
