PAPHOS CENTRE - THE AREA OF AGIOS KENDEAS HAS TAKEN ITS TURN FOR UPGRADING - Filenews 16/7 by Dora Christodoulou

The Municipality of Paphos proceeded with beautification and repair works in the square of Agios Kendeas, upgrading an important space in the heart of the city center.

The interventions included repairs to both the building where the Paphos Reserve Commando Association is housed and the building where an ecclesiastical goods store operates, contributing to the overall aesthetic upgrade of the area.

The Mayor of Paphos, Angelos Onisiforou, emphasized that the area, where the church of Agios Kendeas is located, is a point of reference for residents and visitors. The surrounding pedestrian streets receive a large number of tourists and citizens every day, which is why maintaining a clean and well-groomed image is a priority, he noted.

The Municipality of Paphos consistently continues the interventions that upgrade the image of the city and improve the daily life of the citizens, he concluded.
