KEDIPES paid an additional €50 million in cash for the second quarter of 2026, as part of the repayment of state aid received by the former Cyprus Cooperative Bank.

With the new payment, the total repayment of KEDIPES to the state since the start of its operations in 2018 amounts to €1.87 billion.

At the same time, KEDIPES continues to accept and process applications for the "Rent Against Instalment" Scheme, as its implementing body.

To date, 800 homes have been included in the Plan, out of the 1,200 applications that have been approved.

The total repayment of €1.87 billion is analyzed as follows:

€1.76 billion to repay state aid in cash,
€97 million for the implementation of the "Rent Against Instalment" Plan and the inclusion of 800 homes,
€13 million in other repayments, including instalments of the "Estia" Scheme.

KEDIPES also maintains a cash reserve of €60 million for the financing of the "Rent Against Instalment" Scheme.

In addition, it has committed another €60 million for the repayment of a liability to Eurobank Limited, which is related to the repurchase of a portfolio of non-performing loans that were included in the Loan Guarantee Scheme. This project ended on January 30, 2026.
