ISOLATED RAINS, THUNDERSTORMS AND STRONG WINDS - SLIGHT DROP IN TEMPERATURE - Filenews 3/7
Seasonal low pressure affects the area.
Today, the weather will be mostly clear, however initially there will be locally low clouds or even thin fog. Winds will blow southwest to northwest and initially locally variable, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and later locally in the windward strong and temporarily to very strong, 5 to 6 Beaufort. The sea will become a little rough and temporarily windward to rough. The temperature will rise to 37 degrees inland, around 32 on the south and east coasts, 34 on the north coast and 30 degrees on the west coast as well as in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, but locally on the west coast there will be temporarily increased low clouds. Later and during the morning hours, increased low clouds and sparse fog or fog are expected to form locally, mainly in the eastern half of the island. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest and locally variable, light, 3 Beaufort and initially locally to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough. The temperature will drop to 21 degrees inland, around 22 on the coast and 18 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Saturday, the weather will be mostly clear, however in the afternoon there will be locally increased clouds in the mountains. On Sunday and Monday, the clouds will gradually increase and after noon isolated rains or even a storm are expected in the mountains and inland areas.
The temperature on Saturday will not change appreciably, to remain close to the average climatic values, while until Monday it will gradually drop slightly.
