FREE THEMATIC EXCURSIONS TO POLIS CHRYSOCHOUS AND AKAMAS COMPLETED WITH GREAT SUCCESS

FREE THEMATIC EXCURSIONS TO POLIS CHRYSOCHOUS AND AKAMAS COMPLETED WITH GREAT SUCCESS

The free guided thematic excursions to the museums of Polis Chrysochous and Akamas, organised by the Pafos Regional Board of Tourism for the period May–June, were completed the day before yesterday with exceptional success.

More than 420 people enjoyed the excursion, while participants expressed their great satisfaction with the tour and the sites they visited. A similar excursion is expected to be offered again during the months of October–December 2026.

The initiative was addressed to both locals and visitors, contributing to the strengthening of domestic tourism and the balanced development of the Pafos region.

This action also forms part of the broader mission of the Pafos Regional Board of Tourism to enhance environmental awareness, improve the quality of the visitor experience, and promote lesser-known areas.

Although the excursion programme has now been completed, the Pafos Regional Board of Tourism continues to promote the museums of the area, the experiences offered, and the wider region through social media, its website, and directly through its tourism industry partners, including hoteliers, travel agents, excursion organisers and others.

The Pafos Regional Board of Tourism continues to implement targeted actions that promote the visibility of lesser-known areas, strengthening the position of the Pafos district as a modern, sustainable and multidimensional tourism destination.
