FIRE IN THE EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING - Pafos Live 1/7
According to a relevant announcement, the Department of Forests of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that, today, Wednesday, July 01, 2026 at 03:50, a fire broke out in the location "Strouthos", in the community of Drouseia, in the province of Paphos.
The intervention of the forest firefighting forces was immediate, as a result of which the fire was brought under full control at 04:10, after burning an area of 5 tens, mainly of grain and low wild vegetation.
To extinguish the fire, 4 people from the Forestry Department worked with two fire trucks, as well as 2 people from the Fire Service with 1 fire truck.
The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
