An orange warning for extreme temperatures comes into force today, Thursday, from 12:00-17:00, with the maximum temperature expected to rise to around 44 degrees Celsius in inland areas and around 33 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.

Today, the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest and initially variable, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and temporarily in the afternoon windward to strong, 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough. The temperature will rise to 44 degrees inland, around 37 on the east, southeast and north coasts, around 35 on the southwest and west coasts and 33 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, however later and during the morning hours, low clouds and thin fog or fog are expected to form locally, mainly in the southeast. Winds will become downhill and locally variable, weak, 3 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 24 degrees inland and on the coasts and to 21 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Friday the weather will be mostly clear, however locally there will be temporarily increased clouds. On Saturday and Sunday, locally increased clouds in the afternoon may give isolated rain, mainly in the mountains.
The temperature until Saturday will gradually drop noticeably and on Sunday a non-appreciable change, to fluctuate close to the average climatic values.
