To Chara Miller Jazz Quartet έρχεται στον κήπο του Τεχνόπολις 20 την Παρασκευή, 7 Αυγούστου στις 8 μ.μ συνδιάζοντας όμορφα διάφορα jazz και swing standards.
Με την ζεστή και εκφραστική της φωνή, η Χαρά Μίλλερ μαζί με τον Αιμίλιο Πατσαλίδη στην κιθάρα, τον Κυριάκο Κέστα στο κοντραμπάσο και τον Γιώργο Κυλίλη στα ντραμς, δημιουργούν μια ατμόσφαιρα γεμάτη γοητεία, ρυθμό και διαχρονικές μελωδίες. Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει αγαπημένα κομμάτια όπως Fly Me to the Moon, The Girl From Ipanema, All of Me, L-O-V-E και Sway.
Η Χαρά Μίλλερ σπούδασε Μουσική (BMus) στο Royal Holloway University of London και συνέχισε τις μεταπτυχιακές της σπουδές με ειδίκευση στο Τζαζ Τραγούδι (MMus: Performance) στο Ευρωπαϊκό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου. Είναι ενεργό μέλος της Κυπριακής μουσικής σκηνής από το 2018 και έχει συνεργαστεί με καταξιωμένους μουσικούς.
Ο Αιμίλιος Πατσαλίδης σπούδασε Jazz κιθάρα στο Middlesex University of London , BA Jazz (Honours) . Επιστρέφοντας στην Κύπρο συνέχισε τη μελέτη της Jazz μουσικής έχοντας ως μέντορες μερικούς από τους καλύτερους μουσικούς της χώρας. Από το 2018 ο Αιμίλιος εργάζεται ως δάσκαλος κιθάρας και θεωρίας. Επίσης , είναι ενεργό μέρος της μουσικής σκηνής της Κύπρου παίζοντας με διάφορους μουσικούς και είναι μόνιμο μέλος του Chara Miller jazz band.
Ο Κυριάκος Κέστας σπούδασε Τζαζ Κοντραμπάσο στο Royal Conservatory of The Hague, κάτω από την καθοδήγηση των Clemens van der Feen και Gully Gudmundsson. Είναι ενεργό μέλος στην τζαζ μουσική σκηνή της Κύπρου και της Ολλανδίας, έχοντας παίξει σε φεστιβάλ όπως το ‘Paradise Jazz Festival’, ‘Rialto Jazz & Word Music Showcase’,‘Leiden Jazz & Blues Festival’ και άλλα. Συμμετέχει σε διάφορες μπάντες όπως 'the Bopsters Trio', 'The Kicker Trio', 'Allusion Band’ και 'The Working Quartet.’
Ο Γιώργος έχει αρχίσει τις σπουδές του στην μουσική το 2013 και αποφοίτησε από το Ευρωπαϊκό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου το καλοκαίρι του 2017. Ακολούθησε την εκτέλεση ντραμς στην Jazz μουσική αλλά και σε άλλα διάφορα μουσικά στυλ. Παρακολούθησε δυο από τα Cyprus Jazz Workshops το 2016 και 2017 όπου είχε λάβει μέρος σε διάφορα σχήματα μικρών jazz συνόλων αλλά και μεγάλων ορχηστρικών jazz συνόλων. Επίσης έλαβε μέρος σε αρκετά μουσικά σύνολα πανεπιστημίων, διαφόρων ειδών μουσικής. Διδάσκει την εκτέλεση ντραμς από το 2018 σε διάφορες σχολές και συνεχίζει να διδάσκει μέχρι σήμερα.

The Chara Miller Jazz Quartet comes to Technopolis 20 garden on Friday, 7 August at 8pm for an evening beautifully combining Jazz and Swing standards.
With her warm and expressive voice, Chara Miller is joined by Emilios Patsalides on guitar, Kyriacos Kestas on double bass and George Kylilis on drums, creating an elegant musical atmosphere full of charm, rhythm and timeless melodies. The programme includes beloved songs such as Fly Me to the Moon, The Girl From Ipanema, All of Me, L-O-V-E and Sway.

A few words about the musicians
Chara Miller studied music at Royal Holloway, University of London and continued her postgraduate studies with a specialisation in Jazz Singing (MMus: Performance) at European University Cyprus. She is an active member of the Cypriot Music Scene since 2018 and she has worked with acclaimed musicians.
Emilios Patsalides studied Jazz Guitar at Middlesex University of London, where he obtained a BA (Honours) in Jazz. Upon returning to Cyprus, he continued his study of Jazz music, having as mentors some of the best musicians in the country. Since 2018, Emilios has been working as a guitar and theory teacher. He is also an active part of Cyprus’ music scene, performing with various musicians, and is a permanent member of the Chara Miller Jazz Band.
Kyriacos Kestas studied Jazz Double Bass at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, under the supervision of Clemens van der Feen and Gully Gudmundsson. He is an active member of the Cypriot and Dutch jazz scene, having played in festivals such as the ‘Paradise Jazz Festival’, the ‘Rialto Jazz & Word Music Showcase’, the ‘Leiden Jazz & Blues Festival’ and others. Bands such as 'the Bopsters Trio', 'The Kicker Trio', 'Allusion Band', and 'The Working Quartet' are a few examples of projects where Kyriakos can be found.
George Kylilis has began his music studies in 2013 and graduated from the European University Cyprus in the summer of 2017. He focused on drum performance, specializing in jazz as well as various other musical styles. He attended two Cyprus Jazz Workshops (in 2016 and 2017), where he participated in both small jazz combos and large jazz ensembles. He also played in various university-based musical ensembles across different genres. He has been teaching drums at various schools since 2018 and continues to do so to this day
