Seasonal low pressure affects the area.
Today the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest, initially light 3, gradually light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the south in the afternoon to strong 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 39 degrees inland, around 30 on the southwest and west coasts, around 33 on the rest of the coasts and around 29 degrees in the higher mountains.
It is noted that a warning for extreme heat was issued in the Chryseleousa area of Strovolos, where intense heat is expected.
Tonight the weather will be mostly clear, however during the morning hours locally thin fog or fog and low clouds are expected to form. Winds will gradually become variable light up to 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 21 degrees inland, around 23 degrees on the coast and around 20 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly clear. On Thursday and Friday, locally increased clouds will be observed in the afternoon.
The temperature is not expected to change significantly on Wednesday, while until Friday a gradual slight rise is expected to fluctuate above the average climatic values.
