The United States of America and Britain characterize Cyprus as a safe destination. For the government, these developments reflect the image of a safe and poetic destination.
The change in the level of security for Cyprus was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a relevant post on X.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs points out that this is a positive development "for the image of Cyprus as a travel destination is recorded in the updated guidelines of the United States of America and the United Kingdom".
Furthermore, the following are noted:
"The US has decided to restore Cyprus to the normal level of travel advice, Level 1, with a recommendation on the usual precautions. This is the lowest level of travel advice.
At the same time, the United Kingdom has changed a directive with the result that on the one hand it keeps Cyprus in the destinations for which there is no travel avoidance recommendation, and on the other hand lowers the risk level.
The developments reflect the image of our country as a safe and quality destination."
