A 39-year-old woman from Russia, who was in a furious state and was running naked, falling to the ground, has been hospitalized since yesterday.
The 39-year-old is being treated at the Limassol General Hospital and has rib fractures, while it seems that she had consumed alcohol and specific preparations containing fentanyl-opioid substances.
According to the Police, yesterday around 4 pm, information was given to the Limassol Service Officer that on Stratigou Timagia Street, an unknown foreign woman was running naked in a state of panic.
An ADE patrol immediately went to the scene, where they found the person in a frantic state and hyperactive, as a result of which he had to immobilize her. During the immobilization, under the circumstances, the woman fell violently to the ground.
The person in question, after immobilization, experienced convulsions, foamed from the mouth and emitted a strong odour of alcohol. An ambulance was called to the scene, which transported her to Limassol General Hospital, where, after she was given first aid, she was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and is being treated under sedation, intubated on a ventilator. Her condition is judged to be stable.
It should be noted that a 39-year-old woman tested positive for fentanyl and other opioids while she has fractures in her right ribs.
Tests revealed that she is a 39-year-old woman from Russia, who arrived in Cyprus as a visitor on 02/06 and was expected to leave in early July.
