LAVENDER FESTIVAL

Lavender's charming purple flowers and
captivating scent make it a favourite flower for beauty and wellness. Would you
imagine that you can add it to cooking as well? Lavender provides a floral,
woody, earthy touch to food and beverages, which varies depending on the part
of the plant you use (flowers tend to be floral, while leaves and stems are
herbs).
It also has
some notes of mint and rosemary, as it belongs to the lamiaceae family.
Experienced chefs, bartenders, nutritionists and instructors will take you on a delicious journey into the world of lavender, through 4 interactive gastronomy workshops, and a range of delicacies and sweets are prepared, which has never been presented before.
In addition
to the gastronomic wealth, 32 exhibitors have been working for months,
inspired by lavender, and have created unique products, for beauty and
wellness, arts & crafts especially for the lavender festival in
Platres.
Musicians
and volunteers have taken care of everything, for a Levantine day, which will
give you joy and relaxation, through the chirping of the nightingales.
