The authorities in Konia are coordinating actions in order to complete the works on the road that inconveniences residents and passers-by. In this context, a meeting was held at the Paphos City Hall with the participation of all stakeholders, the Deputy Mayor of Konia, the Civil Engineer of the Municipality of Ierokipia and the contractor of the project.
According to an announcement by the Municipality of Paphos, during the meeting, the necessary coordination was carried out and the works and preparations required for the temporary closure of the road in Konia for a week were determined, in order to complete the necessary interventions and give it back to traffic as a two-way street.
Residents and passing drivers have been suffering for five months due to the work being carried out in the area.
For this reason, the goal of the Municipality of Paphos is, as stated, the completion of the project as soon as possible and the restoration of smooth traffic, in order to facilitate the daily life of the citizens.
The necessary coordination has already been carried out between all the competent services and the contractor, in order for the works to proceed without delays and for the road to be delivered safely and functionally for the benefit of the citizens.
The public, the announcement added, will be informed in time of the exact dates and times during which the road will remain closed, in order to make the necessary arrangements and limit the inconvenience of the public as much as possible.
