The application process for admission to the Vocational Education and Training Programs (MIEEK) began on Monday, June 8, with those interested having until August 20, 2026 to complete their application. The programs are aimed at graduates of Secondary General and Secondary Technical and Vocational Education, offering specialized studies that are directly linked to the needs of the labour market.
According to an announcement by the Public School of Higher Vocational Education and Training, the MIEEK programs are aimed at graduates of Secondary General and Secondary Technical and Vocational Education.
Those interested are invited to submit their application electronically, from the website of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth www.moec.gov.cy or through the website of MIEEK www.mieek.ac.cy.
Admission applications can be submitted electronically until Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 12:00 noon, while the submission of the file with the necessary documents will be done at the Technical and Vocational Schools of Education and Training, and at the Higher Institute of Technical Education until 13:30 of the same day.
It is noted that applicants must submit to the Technical and Vocational School of Education and Training they have chosen in their online application, a file with the necessary documents documenting all the information they have declared.
If for any reason the applicant fails to submit the file with the required documents before the deadline, the application will be considered invalid.
Also, information declared during the electronic completion of the application and not documented with the required documents in the file will not be taken into account.
As the announcement states, a necessary condition for the application to be accepted is the possession of a Secondary Education Diploma recognized by the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth.
Therefore, Secondary Education graduates of the current school year 2026-2027 are urged to submit their application after the date of awarding their diploma, the announcement concludes.
