The holy memory of the Holy Great Martyr Ephraim from Nea Makri will be celebrated in the chapel of the Saint in Tala, next to the Monastery of Agios Neophytos, from today until May 5. According to an announcement by the organizers, the Holy Feast of Saint Ephraim will begin today, Saturday, with the Supplication that will be chanted at 7.15pm.

On Monday, May 4, at 6:00 p.m., a Great Solemn Vespers will be celebrated, officiated by the Bishop of Chytra Leontios. This will be followed by a procession of the Holy Shrine of Saint Ephraim.

On Tuesday, May 5, at 6:30 a.m., Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy will be celebrated. On the same day at 6:30 p.m. a Holy Supplication to Saint Ephraim will be celebrated.

On these days, pieces of the Holy Relics of Saint Ephraim, Saint George the Trophy-bearer, Saint Luke the Physician, Saint Irene the Great Martyr, Saint Nektarios of Pentapolis, Saint Parthenios of Lampsacus, Saint Achilles Bishop of Larissa and Saint Pachomios will be exhibited for veneration.

The Church will be open for pilgrimage during the following days and hours:

May 3, 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.


May 2, 5 from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
