PAPER COMPRESSORS BEING INSTALLED - Pafos Live 16/5
In the framework of the Cohesion Policy Program "THALIA" 2021-2027 and the Program of the Department of Environment "Reduction of solid municipal waste from coastal hotel units and related waste production sites in the districts of Limassol and Paphos", the first six (6) balers were installed on May 13, 2026 in Geroskipou.
Within the next few days, ten (10) additional paper compressors are expected to be installed, with the aim of reducing the volume of cardboard waste that ends up in landfills and increasing the recycling of this material, while improving the image of the coastal front of Geroskipou.
