PSI Foundation in Limassol is hosting a solo cello recital by internationally renowned cellist Mikhail Radunski on Sunday, May 3, as part of the public programme accompanying its current exhibition Bill Viola. Unspoken.

Titled ALONE — Music for Cello Solo, the performance traces a path from Baroque structures to contemporary expression, juxtaposing suites by J. S. Bach with works by Tavener, Vasks, Sollima and others. The programme treats solitude not as isolation but as a state of heightened perception, PSI Foundation said, creating a dialogue between the recital and the exhibition’s exploration of silence, duration and inner experience.

The programme includes:J. Tavener — Threnos
J. S. Bach — Suite No. 2 (Prelude, Courante, Sarabande, Gigue)
G. Gorelova — 2 Paintings of Henry Matisse
J. S. Bach — Suite No. 1 (Prelude, Courante, Sarabande, Gigue)
P. Vasks — Dolcissimo
G. Sollima — Alone

Radunski has performed at major international festivals including the Shanghai Classical Music Festival, the George Enescu Festival and the Chatellerault International Cello Festival, and has appeared at BOZAR in Brussels with the National Orchestra of Belgium. He currently serves as Artistic Director of the Chamber Orchestra of the Republican Music College of the Belarusian State Academy of Music.
