Access City Festival 2026 is back in full swing and after Nicosia travels to Polis Chrysochous. The Enavsma Foundation together with the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous and the Round Table 7 of Paphos, on Saturday, May 16, between the hours of 16:00 – 20:00, turn the Town Hall Square into an open workshop of experiential activities and recreations.
Organizers offer a comprehensive inclusive experience, fostering understanding and acceptance through participation. The festival combines sports activities, experiential experiences, and interactivity, creating an environment that is open and accessible for all. The official guest of the festival is the Paralympic champion and holder of 8 Olympic medals, Karolina Pelendritou and her foundation Through My Eyes.
The program includes archery with the support of the Paphos Archery Club and the 3A Archery Club, giving the public the opportunity to compete together with athletes, such as the Cypriot blind archer and No.1 in the world rankings Christos Misos and the disabled archer Kyriakos Demetriou.
At the same time, visitors can try wheelchair basketball with the team of APOP Paphos in collaboration with Cyprus 3X3, experiential sports activities, in collaboration with the Non-Profit Organization "YPARHO" and "Goals in Life" but also get to know the possibilities of the innovative platform Ablebook and its founders.
The festival will conclude with a mini-panel discussion with the public on improving accessibility & the power of sport in the presence of local authorities and invited para-athletes and organisations.
Access City Festival 2026 stands as an open invitation for everyone to participate in a celebration of diversity, sports, and social awareness, transforming every city into an inclusive space.
